At Forza Group, we offer a premium enogastronomic experience that blends tradition and innovation. We celebrate time-honoured recipes, work closely with local producers and small family farms, and source ingredients responsibly to showcase the richness of the region.

Our chefs bring international expertise and collaborate with renowned global brands, creating a sophisticated culinary journey that combines authentic flavours with world-class techniques.

Our Culture

While practicing the finest approach to tourism, the Joketić family has always kept in mind the treasures of Montenegro’s culture, history, and heritage as well as its astonishing beauty, which they promote in unison with their impeccable service and hospitality.

Legend has it—How Dobrota and Kotor were founded

Two poor world travelers came to a grey sea. As they were exhausted from the long trip, they sat on a rock and saw an inscription that read, “Measure 10 lengths, dig, and stop.” They measured the required length, dug, and uncovered a small chest. At the bottom of the chest were golden words—“This is everyone’s goodness.”

That night before they went to sleep, they saw other shimmering words—“Wish for whatever you want before you sleep.” They wished for nice stone houses and beautiful wives, and when they woke up, they saw two white castles and women looking out the windows at the sea. So, every night before they went to sleep, they wished for more nice houses, and they always woke up and saw them.

Boka Bay

The Bay of Kotor, or simply Boka Bay, is often referred to as Europe’s southernmost fjord, but also as the Jewel of the Adriatic. Naturally divided into four smaller bays and embraced by high mountains that protect the warm climate and the Mediterranean vegetation, this picturesque setting boasts abundant botanical species and medicinal herbs.

Boka Bay also features impressive cultural heritage that reflects a complex variety of architecturalstyles, from Classical Roman, Romanesque, Byzantine and Renaissance to Baroque and Neoclassical. The historical coastal towns of Tivat, Herceg Novi, Risan, Perast and UNESCO- protected Kotor, with their fortifications, narrow streets, charming piazzas, limestone buildings, churches and palaces provide the ideal backdrop for bustling social and cultural life, attracting tourists from all over the world, especially during the summer season.

Kotor Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is within walking distance. The historic location is the home of the Maritime Museum of Montenegro, ancient relics, old churches, a palazzo for seamen, Venetian-inspired architecture, and 14th-century town walls ascending a breathtaking 1,200-meter mountain route.

Montenegro - An Authentic Mediterranean Retreat

As an outstanding destination in the Mediterranean Sea, Montenegro has it all—the beautiful Adriatic coast, boundless mountain ranges, untouched nature, and great food. The English poet Lord Byron wrote, “At the moment of the creation of our planet, the most beautiful merging of land and sea occurred at the Montenegrin seaside … When the pearls of nature were sworn, an abundance of them were strewn all over this area.” The key advantage visitors to Montenegro have is easy access to all of the country’s sites and offerings. They can spend half a day swimming and sunbathing, enjoy a lovely afternoon walking trails or rafting on the Tara River in Europe’s deepest canyon, and then enjoy stargazing at night.

The country’s abundance of cultural sites and landmarks makes it hard to decide which place is the definite hot spot. They include the island-hotel Sveti Stefan; Budva, a favourite clubbing and nightlife destination; Porto Montenegro, a nautical village and luxury yacht club in Tivat; the museums of Perast and its two jewel islands, Our Lady of the Rocks and St. George Island in Boka Bay; Cetinje, the old capital of Montenegro; and ski resorts such as Kolašin and Žabljak.

The country’s rich, natural beauty is on display in its five national parks starting in the south with Lake Skadar, the largest lake on the Balkan Peninsula, and Lovćen, rising above the Adriatic. To the north is Biogradska Gora, the oldest national park in Montenegro and a rain forest unique to this part of Europe. Prokletije is in the southern Alps at the borders of Kosovo, Albania, and Serbia. The largest national park is Durmitor with its glacial lakes among which Crno Lake is the most popular.

The whole country offers visitors tastes, experiences, and views that represent the best of what the Mediterranean has to offer, including local wines and dishes such as kačamak, cicvara, carp, pit-roasted lamb, veal, fresh fish and other seafood delicacies. So many things to enjoy, so start planning!
